 Innsbruck, the capital of Tyrol, is located at 574 metres above sea level and combines a beautiful medieval city, mountains and many sports opportunities.

All the famous sights are within walking distance! You can visit the famous Golden Roof and the museum inside, the Hofburg, the hunting castle Ambras with its beautiful royal park, the Tyrolean Panorama Museum and many medieval alleys as well as beautiful souvenir shops and delicious cafés.

Thanks to the city's unique location, it is only 20 minutes from the centre to the Nordkette ski area at an altitude of over 2,000 m or to the Patscherkofel mountain opposite.
The city, which has hosted the Olympic Games three times, hosts numerous sporting events.

For example, in January the best skiers in the world meet at the Bergisel ski jump in Innsbruck. It is a very spectacular event and we recommend it as a must see!

Innsbruck-Igls hosts the World Luge Championships, which attract many spectators.

There are also competitions in mountain biking.
