Falcon

The Falcons (Falco), also known as Falcon Falcons, are a genus of the family Falconidae with mostly long tail and pointed wings.
The hawks form a relatively uniform group. Its features include the hook-shaped curved down upper beak, on whose front part they carry a spike, the so-called falcon tooth. This shape supports the bite in the neck or in the back skull of the prey, by which this is killed.
The eyes are relatively large, the iris is usually dark. As with the hawk-like, the fletching of the lower leg is usually extended to so-called "pants". A weak fletching extends over the heel joint.
Hawks have 15 cervical vertebrae. For example, a kestrel that spies prey for prey can turn its cervical spine 180 degrees. Due to his eye position, his field of vision is 220 ° without having to turn his neck.
